The Amethyst Inn is an ideal wedding reception venue for small, intimate celebrations, including elopements, private reception dinners, and select private events. Set in a beautifully restored 1830s bed-and-breakfast, the inn offers a warm, elegant atmosphere centered on exceptional dining, exclusive use of the property, and overnight accommodations for you and your guests.

A Private Historic Venue

Event rentals include exclusive use of the entire historic inn for a full 24-hour period. With six spacious guest suites, your group enjoys complete privacy while celebrating and staying together under one roof.

Each suite features luxury amenities including:

  • Two-person jacuzzi tubs
  • Gas log fireplaces
  • Many suites also have private patios or spa-style showers

The inn comfortably sleeps up to 14 overnight guests, making it perfect for intimate gatherings. For overnight guests, a three-course gourmet breakfast can be arranged for the morning after your event, with multiple menu options available.

Reception Dinners & Customized Menus

As a wedding reception venue we offer several prix fixe dinner menus designed to accommodate a variety of budgets and group sizes. Options range from elegant one-course dinners to multi-course fine dining experiences.

Our dining room can be arranged to suit your event:

  • Intimate seating for up to 6 tables which can accommodate 14 guests
  • Long, elegant table layouts for gatherings of up to 25 guests

Enhance your event with optional wine service packages or a hosted cocktail hour for guests to mingle and celebrate.

On-Site Ceremonies

In addition to reception dinners, we also offer on-site intimate weddings and elopement ceremonies for couples seeking a seamless, all-in-one experience.

Our focus is on providing the space, dining experience, and overnight accommodations in one private setting. Events are centered around reception dinners, private dining, and intimate gatherings, with the added benefit of exclusive use of the inn for you and your guests.

While we are happy to discuss your plans and work alongside outside vendors you may choose, The Amethyst Inn does not act as an event coordinator and does not provide rentals, décor, tents, arbors, floral arrangements, or vendor management. This allows hosts to retain flexibility while enjoying a clearly defined, dining-focused experience supported by our hospitality and culinary offerings.

Our private parking lot accommodates up to six large vehicles, making arrival and departure simple for you and your guests.
